Donations and Community Projects / Contributions

We believe in helping others and donate where we can. One of our big ones is the Westpac Rescue Helicopter which is such a great cause.

We also donate to the local Schools, Red Beach Primary, Orewa College and Silverdale Primary.

The Orewa Bowls club also sees a donation from us.

We help reconnect lost pets and owners through our Pet Patrol on the local More FM radio station where people can ring up and put on their lost or found pets for free. This is called out twice a day.

We know some of our elderly clients don't have cars or families around to help them so we offer a pick up and drop off service for them at no extra charge. Also the 10% Gold Card discount.

We are heavily involved in community projects, we work very closely with several charities - Gutter Kitties, HURRAH, Humane Society and Saving Hope Foundation, we subsidise our services to ensure these animals get the same level of care as privately owned pets. All of the animals in the care of these charities are fully vaccinated, microchipped and desexed before being adopted, this helps control the numbers of unwanted puppies and kittens in our communities. We are always involved in community desexing progammes run through the SPCA as well.

We donate any leftover or returned pet food to the charities.

We help all species, not just cats and dogs, we have a great relationship with the local bird rescue and are a first point of contact for injured birds that are picked up in our area.
